Deborah has over 30 years of experience in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse services and has served in many roles that include outpatient services, foster care, community mental health, substance abuse and inpatient psychiatric care. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and a Bachelors of Social Work from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. For 10 years, she practiced as a therapist specializing in family, children and adolescents before moving into administrative positions; of which she has been in for the past 20 years. She loves being part of a caring and compassionate team and being able to effectively contribute to programs that strive to make a positive impact in people’s lives. She brings a specific skill set to the team that includes knowledge of compliance, regulatory standards, policy, and program development. Hobbies include powerwalking, puzzling, traveling and anything with the Grandkids!
