Johnice Saunders, RMHCI

My name is Johnice Saunders, and I am a Registered Mental Health Clinical Intern
with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy. Helping others has always been a passion
of mine, shaped by my six years of military service and over one year of experience in
the mental health field.

My professional journey began in 2021 after a challenging personal experience that
inspired me to become the therapist I once needed but didn’t receive. I enjoy truly
listening and providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals, couples, and
families can identify their concerns and take meaningful steps toward change.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients
facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship and family challenges, self-care
and self-esteem concerns, adjustment issues, communication difficulties, goal setting,
and overall quality-of-life concerns.

I believe in meeting clients where they are—because this is your life and your journey. I
focus on helping my clients stay accountable to themselves while remembering that
growth is about progression, not perfection.
