Judymar Rodriguez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. She earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. Judymar works with a person-centered and strengths-based approach, while incorporating mindfulness and holistic principles. Judymar believes the work of a counselor is to help guide clients honing into their full potential, and reaching the goals they want to achieve. She helps individuals learn to understand themselves, hone in on their values, view other perspectives, and create healthier relationships in their lives. Judymar incorporates authenticity, genuineness, and empathy into her work, to help create a safe and comfortable space for all diverse client systems. Judymar works with children, teens, and adults individually. Her experience in the field has helped her face a wide range of concerns, such as, anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance use, and continues to learn everyday from new clients. For fun, Judymar likes to take her dog out on adventures in nature, and spend quality time with her friends and family.
