Lymarie Vilella is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida 11 years ago. She earned her Nursing Bachelor degree in Sagrado Corazon University, located in Puerto Rico. After a few years she decided to take an advanced degree to provide direct treatment for her patients. She successfully completed her Masters degree in Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. She decided to continue her Doctorate in nurse practitioner in order to provide the best quality of care for her patients.

She started as a Labor and Delivery nurse (2011) and knew that she wanted a personal relationship with the patients, that’s when she decided to move to women’s care (OBGYN). After a few years of experience in women’s care and medical aesthetic industry, she began to associate herself with patients suffering from post-partum depression, PTSD, and depression with psychosis. It was then when she realized that she had a particular interest for the Mental Health care field. She began to work with patients suffering from crisis in an acute unit with diagnoses such as bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and worked with U.S. Veterans. She has more than 6 years of experience working with mental health care.

Lymarie loves to provide a personal experience and educate her patients on a 1:1 level. Her goal is to help them make adequate decisions and be involved in their lives. She likes for her patients to view her as a confidant and someone who they can count on, who will listen, and help care for their mental wellbeing.

Lymarie likes to provide extended outside resources in the community and refer them if needed. On her free time, Lymarie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, being out on her boat, reading, growing plants, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
