Bhaskar N. Raju, MD

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Raju is the Founder and CEO of OPA Behavioral Health and Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. He founded OPA in 2005 with a mission to make high-quality psychiatric care accessible, compassionate, and community-centered.

Under his leadership, OPA Behavioral Health has grown into a multi-location behavioral health organization delivering care through in-office and telehealth services across Florida, with a strategic vision to expand psychiatric services into additional states. His focus is on building scalable, ethical healthcare systems that improve access to mental health care while preserving personalized, evidence-based treatment.

Dr. Raju is also a committed philanthropist and community advocate. He actively supports initiatives that expand mental health services in underserved communities, promote early intervention, and reduce stigma surrounding mental illness. His leadership reflects a belief that psychiatric care should be easily accessible and integrated into the communities it serves.

Education & Training

Dr. Raju earned his Medical Doctorate from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, India. He completed his psychiatry residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Minnesota, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.
